Legislative Programme of Prodi Commission - Priorities of European Parliament

In Strasbourg on 16 March, the European Parliament approved, through a very large majority (339 in favour and 26 against), but with a large number of abstentions (111), its resolution over the European Commission's legislative programme for 2000. This resolution, both positive and critical, contains very detailed requests and places special emphasis on the pursuit of the very close dialogue with Parliament on the Commission's internal reform (for the debate and the vote, see EUROPE of 16...
