ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) maintenance

German electricity maintenance company ENBW hopes to increase from 27% to 83.5% its share in the SALAMANDER group (footwear: annual turnover of EUR 800 million) by acquiring the 45.8% stake held by the German machine tool specialist VOITH and 10.7% of the private bank COMMERZBANK. In exchange, ENBW would sell to VOITH its 24.9% in the maintenance company DIW - DEUTSCHE INDUSTRIEWARTUNG (annual turnover EUR 306.78 million with around 5,500 employed), a subsidiary of SALAMANDER.
