ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) transport

The Dutch firm SMIT INTERNATIONAL is to increase its share in the Belgian firm URS (boat towing and rescue: 1999 turnover of BEF 2 bn) in which it already has a 26% stake. The percentage of the new stake has not been disclosed but it is a majority share, says URS.
