European Commission presents its suggestions for IGC relating to composition and functioning of Court of Justice and Court of First Instance

Brussels, 01/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - As it had announced, the European Commission has completed its "opinion" of 26 January for the Intergovernmental Conference by presenting, on the initiative of President Prodi and Commissioner Michel Barnier, its suggestions concerning the "reform of the Community courts". This chapter had been left aside as the Commission was waiting for the report of the Discussion Group ("Due Report"), which it now has.
