LA POSTE (France - annual turnover of FF 93 bn) has announced the creation of EFIPOST, a 100% subsidiary with a capital of FF 1 bn responsible for the financial management of postal account funds, or FF 180 bn. In addition, LA POSTE has signed agreements with the Italian, Portuguese and Greek postal services by which they should create a joint-venture in the express delivery sector. The Spanish postal service will join the alliance at a later date.
