Brussels, 01/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - At their meeting on the evening of Tuesday 29 February in Brussels under the joint chairmanship of Renzo Imbeni, EP Vice-President, and Miguel Fontes, Portuguese Secretary of State for Youth, the European Parliament/Council Conciliation Committee on the Youth Programme resulted in an agreement on the financial allocation for this programme, namely EUR 520 million for a period of seven years (2000-2006).
