Brussels, 01/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - At the close of a marathon vote lasting a whole day on over 220 amendments, the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, chaired by Giorgio Napolitano (Democratici di sinistra), adopted by 18 votes, against 2 and 3 abstentions, the report by British Liberal Democrat Andrew Duff and Austrian Green member Johannes Voggenhuber on the elaboration of a Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.
