Commission approves regional aid maps for France, Belgium and southern and central Italy

Brussels, 01/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission approved on Wednesday the regional aid maps for 2000-2006 for France, Belgium and Italy (with the exception of aid for northern Italy, which has to be reviewed in greater detail). It also accepted the increase in maximum aid intensity for large companies in Finland. This rate has been raised from 16% to 20%, which remains within the ceiling of 20% set by the Commission (as against 8% and 12% in the aid map notified by Finland in...
