The British brewery group SCOTTISH & NEWCASTLE has decided to sell its leisure division, made up of CENTER PARCS (13 leisure centres in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and the United Kingdom) and HOLIDAY CLUB PONTINS. According to The Observer, it intends asking BEF 60 bn for CENTER PARCS. In addition, the British group is considering taking over KRONENBOURG (French group DANONE) and Belgium's ALKEN-MAES.
