Recommendations of the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT) for reforming European pension schemes

Brussels, 16/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Chairman of the European Round Table of industrialists (ERT) Morris Tabaksblat and its Vice-Chairman Carlo De Benedetti presented the organisation's new report to European Commission President Romano Prodi on Monday, report entitled "European Pensions: an appeal for reform".

With this document, ERT is launching an appeal to political decision-makers at both national and European level. Public pension schemes are going through a latent crisis, ERT...
