CA -COMPUTER ASSOCIATES INTERNATIONAL ($6.3 bn turnover in 1999 with 18,000 employees) is to takeover STERLING SOFTWARE ($807 million turnover in 1999 with 3,800 employees) through an exchange of share for a total of $4 bn.
