Strasbourg, 16/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - "For many citizens, and not only in your country, you embody the values of Europe": this was stated by Nicole Fontaine, European Parliament President, on Wednesday when she welcomed Vaclav Havel, President of the Czech Republic, who took the floor at the EP plenary session for the second time (he had given a speech in 1994, just after enforcement of the Maastricht Treaty).
