ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

Germany's BASF has bought a minority share in the American electronic commerce firm CHEMCONNECT, which will become its leading partner for the purchase of raw materials over Internet. Electronic sales of chemicals are expeced to total EUR 200 bilion in five years, rising from 10 billion at present.
