Parliament still calls for large increase in budgetary allocation for Life Environment financial instrument

Strasbourg, 16/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by French Socialist Marie Noëlle Lienemann, the European Parliament amended at second reading (codecision), the Council's "common position" relating to the financial instrument for the environment, "LIFE".
