ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) engines

SNECMA (France), MTU (Germany, DASA group), FIATAVIO (Italy, FIAT group) and ITP (Spain) have created a joint venture for production of the M1380 engine to be used in the Airbus A400M. Baptised TURBOPROP INTERNATIONAL, the new venture will be owned 33% each by SNECMA and MATU, 22% by FIATAVIO and 12% by ITP.
