Romano Prodi will give inauguration speech on the seat of the centre in Vienna

Brussels, 03/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission spokesperson announced that the President of the Commission Roman Prodi has decided to personally give a speech during the inauguration ceremony of the new headquarters of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia on the 7 and 8 of April in Vienna. His visit to the Austrian capital was already scheduled; by today's announcement, Mr. Prodi wanted to confirm his desire to make the announcement on this occasion.
