The French group PUBLICIS (sales of FRF 45 million in 1999) has acquired 100% of FALLON MCELLIGOTT (expected turnover of USD 700 million for 1999 with 650 employees), an American advertising agency. This operation will make PUBLICIS the leading non-American agency in the United States. The amount of the transaction was not made public.
