GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/agriculture

03/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission approved fourteen programmes in eight Member States (Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom) for the promotion and marketing of quality bovine meat as part of the 1999/2000 campaign. The cost reaches EUR 12 million, of which 7.2 million are part of the Community budget.
