ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) electronics

America's GM - GENERAL MOTORS has authorised its shareholders to take a certain number of shares in its subsidiary HUGHES ELECTRONICS, of which it will retain control with 35% of the capital. GM, which will pocket some $15 bn through this operation, so far held a 69% stake in this subsidiary specialised in satellites.
