- Italy: EDIZIONE HOLDING, owned by BENETTON, has put in the winning bid for the partial privatisation of GRANDI STAZIONI, a subsidiary of the Italian national railway FERROVIE DELLO STATO charged with the management of Italy's 13 biggest train stations. For this operation, EDIZIONE HOLDING formed and led a consortium made up of MILANO CENTRALE, real estate subsidiary of PIRELLI, VIANINI and SNCF -SOCIETE NATIONALE DES CHEMINS DE FER- (France).
