In Germany, DEUTSCHE TELEKOM and KIRCH will be cooperating to develop Internet access via cable. To this end, DEUTSCHE TELEKOM will pay more than DEM 500 million for 51% of BETA RESEARCH, the cable decoder subsidiary of KIRCH, which will keep the remaining 49%.
