Adoption of Koch reports on transport of hazardous goods and training of safety advisers

Strasbourg, 19/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament stated its view on Tuesday on two reports by German EPP Member Dieter-Lebrecht Koch concerning safety in the transport of hazardous goods.

  • It adopted at second reading the proposal for a directive on examinations for safety advisers for the transport of dangerous goods by road, rail or inland waterways. This text complements a 1996 directive obliging undertakings that transport dangerous goods to appoint safety experts. It...
