ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) retailing

In Belgium, the manufacturer and distributor of para-pharmaceutical products OMEGA PHARMA (provisional 1999 turnover of BEF 1.65 bn) has announced the acquisition of 100% of the capital of ACA PHARMA (199 turnover of some BEF 150 million, with 17 collaborators). The transaction, the cost of which has not been disclosed, took place manly though an exchange of shares.
