Strasbourg, 19/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - "Europe is now undergoing a decisive phase in defining the model for its political and economic organisation and asserting its identity on the world stage", which means that it has to "make certain choices" that "will affect the shape of our own plans for the future of the European Union": this is what EU Council President Jaime Gama declared when presenting the programme of the Portuguese Presidency to the European Parliament Wednesday morning....
