The British steel group CORUS has announced the creation of a joint venture in China between its subsidiary CORUS ALUMINIUM EXTRUSIONS and the Chinese group TNMG -TIANJIN NON FERROUS METALS. The new venture, in which CORUS is investing around GBP 5.7 million, will manufacture extruded aluminium products and is expected to produce around 8,000 tonnes a year. CORUS will own 61% of its shares and TNMG the remaining 39%.
