The French manufacturer RENAULT, in exclusive talks with SAMSUNG MOTORS for the acquisition of the latter's industrial assets and make, is also said to be interested in the "heavy goods vehicles" division of DAEWOO MOTOR, says the Korean new agency Yonhaps. The French manufacturer is said to be studying the acquisition of two DEAWOO Korean plants for an estimated 800 million won.
