On Monday 15 December, the political group coordinators on the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture reached an agreement on the allocation of several key files relating to the post-2027 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
The EPP group has picked up the report on the draft regulation laying the foundations for the post-2027 CAP. Norbert Lins (EPP, German), the Committee’s second Vice-Chair, is set to be the rapporteur for it.
With regard to the draft regulation on ‘national and regional partnership plans’ (NRPP), the Committee on Agriculture will share responsibility with the European Parliament’s Committees on Regional Development and Budgets. The Renew Europe group will have to appoint a rapporteur from among its members on these national plans in the Committee on Agriculture.
A member of the S&D group will be responsible for the report on the revision of the regulation on common market organisation (CMO). Éric Sargiacomo (S&D, French), third Vice-Chair of the Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture, could be chosen for this task. (Original version in French by Lionel Changeur)
