European Parliament supports military mobility, including idea of a ‘military Schengen’

17/12/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 17 December in Strasbourg, the European Parliament adopted - by 493 votes in favour, 127 against and 38 abstentions - its resolution aimed at improving and supporting military mobility(see EUROPE B13759A27). It welcomes the European Commission’s proposal to increase the military mobility budget to over €17 billion in the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034(see EUROPE B13683A3).
