On Monday 13 October, MEPs on the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) debated the draft annual report on the state of fundamental rights in the European Union for the years 2024 and 2025. The text, submitted by Anna Strolenberg (Greens/EFA, Dutch), assessed compliance with the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the values set out in Article 2 of the EU Treaty.
