EU Council extends its sanctions against members of military junta

14/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – The Council of the European Union has extended, until 27 October 2026, the restrictive measures imposed since October 2010 against members of the military junta in power in the Republic of Guinea. These sanctions target leaders of the ‘National Council for Democracy and Development’ (NCDD). EU Member States are obliged to prevent their entry into or transit through European territory.
