Brussels, 17/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - After formal investigation procedure that it had opened in July 2001 on eleven special tax regimes on companies of eight Member States, the Commission has declared two special tax regimes in Luxembourg illegal. They were to the advantage of coordination centres and finance companies (see EUROPE of 12 July 2001, p.11).
