Conference on European policies for mountain areas - regional and agricultural aid

Brussels, 17/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Commission and the Commissioners responsible for regional, agricultural and enterprise policy opened a two-day conference on Thursday morning, in Brussels, devoted to European policies for mountain areas. "This conference seeks to explain how the European Union, working with the partners in the mountain regions, can help to create the conditions for sustainable development", Romano Prodi told some 400 participants...
