Lipietz report suggests creation of new jurisdictional body to deal with competition issues

Brussels, 17/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Economic and Monetary Committee has adopted the report by French Green Party MEP, Alain Lipietz, which gave a warm welcome to the European Commission's 31st report on competition policy (2001), by 16 votes for, 7 against and 17 abstentions.
