19/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - After ratification by Italy on Tuesday of the trade liberalisation and cooperation agreement between the EU and Mexico, the ratification process is now completed on all sides. The non-Community aspects of the agreement, which cover the liberalisation of services or of investment, for example, could therefore soon come into force. The rest of the agreement has been in force since 1 July.
