Amato and Schröder urge for greater political integration of the EU

Florence, 19/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - After their meeting in Florence on Tuesday, German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and Italian Prime Minister Giuliano Amato pointed out that Italy and Germany will pool their efforts during French Presidency to obtain the launching, from the Nice Summit on, of a process for greater political integration of the European Union.
