The Belgian industrial mineral group SIBELCO (turnover of BEF 46.8 billion in 1999) acquired, via its subsidiary WATTS BLAKE BEARNE & COMPANY, the British company HMC - HEPWORTH MINERALS AND CHEMICAL (turnover of GBP 78.2 million in 1999) for GBP 83 million.
