Strasbourg, 19/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - Following the recommendation made by the European Ombudsman concerning the rules for public access to documents, Europol agreed to adopt the same rules as the Council. Europol Director Jürgen Storbeck informed Jacob Söderman, on 6 July, stating that instructions have already been given to this effect to the Europol staff.
