ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) pharmaceuticals

The German group PHOENIX PHARMAHANDEL AG & CO (1999/2000 turnover of DM 15.1 bn) has made a bid for the 49.42% of the capital of the Dutch firm BROCACEF HOLDING NV (1999 turnover of 592 million euro) that it still did not have, at 18 euro a share, setting the overall price of the transaction at 54.9 million euro.
