The British businessman Richard Branson (VIRGIN group) is to launch VIRGIN ELECTRICITY, an on-line co- gas and electricity company to be held to the tune of 75% by VIRGIN and 25% by LONDON ELECTRICITY, the British subsidiary of EDF - ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE.
