Greens welcome entry of ecologists, for first time, in South-American government

Strasbourg, 05/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Co-Presidents of the European Parliament Green group, Heidi Hauttala and Paul Lannoye, welcomed the entry of the Greens into the Mexican government after last Sunday's elections, underlining that it is the first ecologist party in Latin American to take part in a government coalition.
