Green light for construction joint venture between Saint-Gobain and IWKA

Brussels, 05/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission authorised the planned joint venture between Halbergerhutte GmbH, German subsidiary of the French group Saint-Gobain, and Bopp&Reuther AG, subsidiary of the German group IWKA (construction materials). This operation will take place through the joint acquisition of control by the two partners of the Muffenrorh company, thus increasing their respective stakes to 50%.
