EIB grants new loan of EUR 45 million for motorway network

Luxembourg, 05/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank granted a new loan of EUR 45 million to Algeria for its motorway network, thus increasing the total amount in loans given to Algeria for the development of its motorway network since 1990 to EUR 151 million. The loan given through the Algerian Development Bank will contribute towards the financing of three sections of the East-West motorway, south of Algiers.
