For a tougher legal framework to combat fraud against the Community's financial interests

Brussels, 20/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament Committee on Budgetary Control has adopted unanimously, less two abstentions, the report by Austrian Socialist Herbert Bosch on protection of the Community's financial interests and the fight against fraud. It welcomes the European Commission's proposal for the creation of a European public ministry.
