20/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - There was an error in EUROPE of 15 April, page 10, in the parliamentary report of the debate on the banana CMO. Please read: "A large minority of the EPP is in favour of the Commission's proposal", specified Konrad Schweiger, German Christian Democrat, who affirms that the WTO rules must be kept (and who calls for structural measures allowing for the position of EU banana producers to be made easier).
