The Portuguese group INAPA has just signed the contract for the purchase of Germany's PAPER UNION, an operation that will put it in third place in Western Europe behind the Dutch firm BÜRHMANN and the Franco-British group ANTALIS. With the acquisition of PAPER UNION, INAPA will market this year a million tonnes of paper for various uses and is expected to have consolidated sales of EUR 1.1 billion.
