Commission could oppose the mega-merger in aluminium sector between Péchiney, Alusuisse and Alcan

Brussels, 02/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - the European Commission could oppose in the next two weeks the merger between the Péchiney (France), Alusuisse (Switzerland) and Alcan (Canada) groups, an operation that would create the largest integrated company producing Aluminium in the world.
