Commission approves purchase of certain Ericsson activities in Sweden and France by Solectron (United States)

Brussels, 02/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the operation by which Solectron Corporation (United States) is to buy four manufacturing units for communications systems (located in Sweden and France) belonging to Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (Sweden).

Solectron is active in the electronics sector providing manufacturing solutions to original equipment manufacturers, most particularly in the telecommunication and computer industries. It assembles and supplies...
