Bank keeps key rates unchanged - Duisenberg acknowledges weakness of euro is "cause for concern" as it may influence "price climate"

Frankfurt, 02/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Governing Council of the European Central Bank decided on Thursday to leave its key short term interest rate, the refinancing rate or "refi", unchanged at 3.25%, and also to leave unchanged, at 4.25% and 2.25% respectively, the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility (upper and lower rate limits from day to day).
