Brussels, 17/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The negotiations between China and Europe on China's membership to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will be resumed in Beijing on Monday 21 February. European Commissioner Pascal Lamy, who is currently on a visit to Washington, is ready to leave for China immediately if this new technical session, which should be extended at least until the end of next week, makes the conclusion of a bilateral agreement possible.
