Will fourteen Foreign Ministers attend inauguration of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism in Vienna?

The Hague / Brussels, 17/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - Dutch Foreign Minister Jozias van Aartsen has invited fellow Ministers from Austria's EU partner countries to attend the inauguration, in Vienna on 7 April, of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia. According to Mr van Aartsen, this visit "into the lion's jaws" would be a strong signal to the Austrian coalition between the conservatives and Mr Haider's party.
